1. Cornish Pasty Company—Tempe, AZ

What to eat: Cornish Pasty Company is a highly original restaurant that serves not only soup and salad but also serves some sandwich favorites wrapped in delicious flakey pastries. They also serve scrumptious dessert pasties along with tea and coffee.

Dog Specifics: There is an outdoor patio that is highly dog-friendly and all of the staff is sure to bring your dog a water bowl and make sure he or she feels welcome.

2. Echo 5 Sports Pub—Mesa, AZ

What to eat: Echo 5 Sports Pub is a locally owned family-friendly business with the bar food of your dreams. They serve classic American food including mouth-watering burgers, chili, country-fried steak, and so much more.

Dog Specifics: Echo 5 has an outdoor patio that it incredibly dog-friendly. Staff will bring your dog water and treats right away, and will continue to make your pup feel loved and welcome throughout your visit.

3. O.H.S.O Brewery & Distillery—Gilbert, AZ

What to eat: O.H.S.O has a great menu from brunch to dinner, plus a giant bar with delicious hand-crafted brews that are a must try. They serve everything from Fruity Pebble French toast to chorizo tacos in the mornings, and salads to salmon in the afternoon and evening. O.H.S.O also offers vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options per your request.

Dog Specifics: With a huge covered patio and “doggy bar” perfect for your pups, it is no wonder that O.H.S.O is a dog-friendly favorite in the East Valley. Servers can accommodate your dog with water plus there is a grass area for you and your pup to play.

4. Postino East—Gilbert, AZ

What to eat: Postino is a wine café and Italian cuisine restaurant in the heart of popular downtown Gilbert. They offer happy hour every day as well as board and bottle nights every Monday and Tuesday after 8 p.m. They serve bruschetta, soup and salad, paninis, dessert and of course delectable wine options. It’s the perfect night out with your one true love, if you know what we mean.

Dog Specifics: Postino has an outdoor dog friendly patio for you to enjoy a meal with the company of your canine. The servers are genuine dog lovers and there are also some human menu items that your dog may love to try as a tasty treat.

5. Joe’s Farm Grill—Gilbert, AZ

What to eat: Joe’s menu offers delicious smokehouse favorites such as barbeque pork, baby back ribs, and a BBQ Sampler. They also serve chicken, burgers, salads and pizza. Joe’s also proudly serves breakfast every day from 8 a.m.–11 a.m.

Dog Specifics: Joe’s Farm Grill has a spacious patio for you and your dog to not only eat together, but with room to roam around if your pup gets antsy. The staff is also more than willing to bring your dog a water bowl if you’d like.

6. Original Chop Shop—Queen Creek, AZ

What to eat: Chop Shop is a quaint little restaurant that serves protein bowls, salads, sandwiches, super-fruit bowls and of course their original fresh juices and protein shakes. They offer a variety of flavors for their drinks as well as a variety of food menu items including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options.

Dog Specifics: Although the outside patio is small, it is very dog-friendly. Servers can accommodate your dogs with water as well.
