When you think of the biggest national holidays to drink, St. Patrick’s Day is probably near the top of your list. With Paddy’s Day right around the corner, we decided to compile a list of the most shamrockin’ places in the East Valley to act Irish.

1. RT O’Sullivans

RT O’Sullivan’s is an Irish sports grill in East Mesa. If you are looking for monster green beers, step dancers, and bagpipes, this St. Paddy’s Day, the RT’s is the place for you.

2. The Harp Pub

Looking for something a little more authentic than green beer? Nestled in Dana Park in Mesa, The Harb Pub is an Arizona pub with an Irish soul. Enjoy classic Irish comfort food and a pint of Irish beer on the patio or at the lively bar this St. Patrick’s Day. Don’t miss the classic Fish and Chips, or Shepherd’s Pie, plus a wide selection of draft beers and craft cocktails.

3. The Monastery—Mesa

The Monastery in Mesa is proud to host their annual St. Patrick’s Day Weekend Party this March. They’ll have live music, green beer, Irish car bombs, and food. The party starts at 11 a.m. on Saturday March 16 and will continue into Sunday the 17.

4. Cogburns Bar

Cogburns Big Wings turns green for St. Paddy’s Day and last year they even changed their name for the weekend to “McCogburns” as a tip-o-the-hat to the ole’ Irish. They also serve green drinks for those who really want to get into the Irish spirit.

5. Rula Bula Irish Pub and Restaurant

Rula Bula Irish Pub is right on Mill Ave and known as one of the top spots to spend St. Patrick’s Day. Aside from the fact that there is a street full of many other bars, Rula Bula starts the party early in the morning and goes all night. They have live music, giveaways, and of course, everyone is rockin’ green.

6. Fibber Magees Irish Pub

Fibber Magees is another Irish pub that typically holds a block party each year on St. Paddy’s Day. They also tend to start celebrating several days before and continue the party a few days after the holiday. So, if you want to extend your party for an entire week…Fibber Magees is for you.
