The recent Beam Signing event gathered East Valley educators, city officials and families at the site of the new Silver Valley Elementary School in the Cadence at Gateway subdivision. Mesa Mayor John Giles headed up the event as the group ushered in a new era in education in the East Valley.

Progress on the Silver Valley Elementary School continues, readying the campus to open in July for students PreK-6th grade.

Queen Creek Unified School District also recently held a Silver Valley Elementary and Eastmark High School Enrollment Night at Cadence in “The Mix” room in The Square at 14243 S. Ellsworth Rd. in Mesa on Wednesday, March 20 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Enrollment continues for both schools. When enrolling a student(s), please bring copies of birth certificates, shot records, proof of residency and a copy of a parent ID.

Eastmark High, at Ellsworth and Ray roads, is scheduled to open for the 2019-20 year and is now enrolling grades 7-10. Information and enrollment form may be found at: http://eastmarkhs.com/. To register your student(s), go to Gateway Polytechnic Academy (GPA) located at 5149 S. Signal Butte Rd. in Mesa. Office hours are Monday thru Friday 7:45 a.m. – 4 p.m.
