We’re excited to announce more local grocery shopping options for the Cadence at Gateway community!
The Fry’s Food Store at 2724 S Signal Butte Rd. in Mesa, about 15 minutes from Cadence, has a wine and beer bar, daily-made sushi, grocery pickup and much more available for Cadence families.
Fry’s is part of the Kroger Family of Companies, with nearly 2,800 stores in 35 states, under two dozen banners, and annual sales of more than $115.3 billion. Kroger today ranks as one of the world’s largest retailers. They serve America through food inspiration and uplift, and by creating Zero Hunger, Zero Waste communities.
About 10 minutes from Cadence, residents will discover a new Safeway, the anchor tenant of a brand new 10.6-acre shopping center at Signal Butte and Warner roads in Mesa. Construction begins this spring and will be complete November 2019.
The store features Deliver, Drive Up & Go and Rush Delivery options for busy shoppers, as well as online coupons, gourmet coffee, organic lasagna, and Eating Right™ meals.
Safeway began in 1915, when M.B. Skaggs, an ambitious young man in the small Idaho town of American Falls, purchased a tiny grocery store from his father. There are now over 1,300 Safeway stores across the U.S. They operate with the philosophy of offering customers the products they wanted to buy at a fair price, with lots of tender, loving care.
As part of Cadence’s next phases, just a short drive from the residential neighborhoods, along Cadence Parkway, will be a bustling shopping district with ample stores and services. This will create even more convenient shopping for Cadence individuals and families.
Cadence at Gateway is ideally situated in the heart of the vibrant area known as Gateway, within the East Valley, at Ray and Ellsworth roads, at the Loop 202 Santan Freeway and the new State Route 24. The community affords easy access to the rest of the Valley including nearby shopping restaurants, houses of worship and the top-rated schools in Arizona.
