From finger painting to photography - kids and adult hobbies
Want to plan a group activity? We'll help.
For those times when you need a babysitter.
The name evokes early-morning bugle calls at summer camp, but this is just our version of a day devoted to nature. Campouts, hiking, following a bike trail to every park—it’s all a part of connecting with the outdoors at every age.
Residents will brainstorm, design and assemble (with help from professionals) a functional object, using space on the trail system. Maybe it’s a giant climbing toy. Maybe it’s a fort. Maybe we’re just getting started, because there’s practically no limit to what can be done!
Creativity is in all of us, and Homemade Cadence lets you channel those instincts! The range of possibilities is crazy wide, from making fresh ice cream to DIY costumes to planting an herb box. Residents can lead the activity or try something new with an expert showing the way.
Calendar of Events
Cadence at Gateway is lining up a steady stream of programming for the whole family. With this handy calendar, you'll know event and activity dates and times, and have an opportunity to sign up.
No doubt about it, kids love playing. So we're planning a wide range of activities to keep youngsters playing and learning—and loving every minute of it!
Arts & Education
Call it DIY, maker-space, crafting or creative expression—we're doing it at Cadence. From fingerprinting to photography, we'll have a full calendar to expand your mind as you work with your brain, hands—and heart.
Have you ever wanted to arrange a group activity like a pick-up basketball game, a hike, or a Super Bowl party? We’ll help take care of the details—as well as let you know what's on "Calling All Residents" calendars—planned by residents for residents.
Some occasions, like Cadence Date Nights, are designed with "adults only" in mind. Every month we'll have activities and mixers to remind you why it's great to be a grown-up.
