Cadence Welcomes New Silver Valley Elementary Principal

Cadence at Gateway extends a hearty welcome to Kelli Frazier, new principal of Silver Valley Elementary School. The Queen Creek Unified School District named Frazier to the position on Feb. 2 at the Governing Board Meeting.

Superintendent Dr. Perry Berry said Frazier is recognized as a strong instructional leader with a tremendous work ethic and passion.

As part of the QCUSD for six years, Frazier spent two years at Queen Creek Elementary and four years at Gateway Polytechnic Academy. Additionally, she has worked in Sunnyside Unified School District in Tucson as a reading specialist, program facilitator and dean of students.

“I am honored to serve as principal at Silver Valley Elementary and am looking forward to working with the staff, students, families and community members to help inspire and optimize the potential of every student entrusted in our care,” Frazier said. “I view this opportunity as a privilege and am looking forward to continuing to serve with the level of excellence you have come to expect from the Queen Creek Unified School District.”

Silver Valley Elementary School is located in the Cadence at Gateway community in Mesa, which is in the northern part of the district boundaries.

Frazier earned her education degrees from Northern Arizona University. She and her husband, Michael, have three children. She loves the outdoors, hiking, camping and spending time with her family.  When not at work, she is often found in Christopher Creek at her family’s cabin.
