Mother’s Day is a few days away, but you’ve still got plenty of time to plan something unforgettable in Mesa. From traditional tea parties and brunches, to catching a show, taking a hike, or playing a bit of laser tag, Mesa has options perfect for every personality.

Enjoy a delicious Mother’s Day Brunch in the Pavilion with stunning views of the Valley and a gourmet brunch buffet from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. The Vistas Pavilion is adjacent to Las Sendas Golf Club off Power Rd. near Bush Highway and promises a variety of seasonal and specialty brunch entrees, desserts and drinks to please every palate.

Chase your mom around 13,000 square feet of fun, with 15 different levels, 90 towers, bridges, and ramps! This is a family-run business that has been part of the Mesa community for over 16 years.
All Moms play free with the purchase of any Laser Tag Game. The entire experience is about 25 to 30 minutes including game instruction, game play, and receiving scorecards. Ages 5 and up, although children under 5 years old may play if they are able to wear the vest on their own. Children may not be carried and vests may not be shared.

If your mom loves the desert cacti, birds and lizards, take her to Usery Park in East Mesa to enjoy the outdoors together. The park is 3,648 acres set at the western end of the Goldfield Mountains, adjacent to the Tonto National Forest. There are 29 miles of trails for hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding. Park trails range in length from 0.2 miles to over 7 miles, and range in difficulty from easy to difficult. Pack plenty of water, wear sunscreen and go either very early or late in the day to avoid the heat. The gorgeous landscape also creates a great opportunity to take some family photos that you’ll be able to frame for her and Dad, because don’t forget, Father’s Day is coming up!
