The East Valley area surrounding Cadence at Gateway boasts many restaurants that have stunning scenes of the Sonoran Desert, the Superstition Mountains and even airport take-offs and landings.   1. Barrio Brewing Co.

Enjoy watching small aircraft take off and land at Mesa Gateway Airport with the Superstition Mountains as a nice backdrop. Barrio Brewing features its own brand of craft beers plus burgers, tacos and a large selection of delicious sandwiches including Rueben’s High on Rye, Philly Cheese Steak and Roast Beef and Cheddar Panini. Barrio is not in the airport, but it’s located in a unique building that overlooks the airport tarmac so you can observe the aircraft action.

Steak and Stone Steakhouse & BBQ offers high-quality prime meats served on a 500-degree cooking stone, plus views of Falcon Field Airport. Informal, but fun, is Miners Grill & Ice Cream Parlor at Goldfield Ghost Town, with views of the Superstition Mountains. The area will transport you back to the days of gunslingers, gold panning and duels. Have a casual snack of burgers, hot dogs, beer, shaved ice or delicious ice cream as you tour the historic Ghost Town. Goldfield was a thriving town back in the day and gold ore was discovered there in 1892.
