Thanksgiving Dinner To-Go from 6 Mesa Restaurants

Support your local restaurants, and give yourself a break on the cooking this Thanksgiving. If 2020 is the year for a to-go family feast, Mesa has some great restaurant options. Whether you pick up the entire meal, or just a few special options, these six family-owned businesses offer their talents to fill your plates this season:

Sassy’s Cafe & Bakery

Sassy’s is at the top of our list for a for several good reasons, including Turkey Dinners, Pot Roast Dinners, Teriyaki Chicken Dinner or Carne Asada Dinners. They offer delicious meals straight from the owner’s personal favorite recipes that they would serve if you came to dinner at their home. Their new location at 1815 S. Crismon Road in Mesa puts deliciousness about 10 minutes from Cadence.

Sassy’s will have to-go Thanksgiving Dinner orders and custom pies for pick-up. Place orders by Nov. 20. They offer delicious turkey, sides like mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, delicious salads, etc. Each meal comes complete with an entree, two sides, salad, and dessert that feeds 4 people. Meals start at $45 (an additional serving can be purchased for $8 each).  Meals are packaged in oven-ready foil containers (as needed) to be safely reheated prior to serving. You may pick up your meal between 4:15 – 5:15 p.m. Call 480-649-3067 to order.

Owner Melody Larsen said, “We’ll have pick-up on Wednesday the 25th and all they’ll need to do is put it in the oven for 30 minutes right before they celebrate for a delicious home-cooked meal!”

Handlebar Diner

Handlebar Diner is a casual dining destination within the Eastmark community, a diner that is a refurbished Valentine Diner from the 1940s and oh so close to Cadence.

Featuring delicious chicken wings, cheesesteak, burgers, chicken, mac and cheese and fried shrimp, your family is sure to find just the dish to fill their belly.
