This holiday season, create a new tradition at locally owned and operated Schnepf Farms.

This new,  family-friendly holiday event – Christmas at Schnepf Farms – runs through Jan. 4, 2020, with winter activities for everyone at this East Valley destination at Ellsworth and Rittenhouse roads in Queen Creek, 20 minutes from Cadence at Gateway.

Take a ride through the farm on the Illumination Express and experience the magic of more than a million lights synchronized to music. Experience a rare event for Arizona, ice skating, on an outdoor rink. Engage in friendly competition while mini golfing through the North Pole and then have a jolly visit with Santa. Take time to sit and relax while experiencing an enchanted 4D movie, perfect for putting you in the holiday spirit.

Guests can decorate cookies or pinecones. Write a letter to Santa and don’t miss visiting Santa’s reindeer on the farm. Planning to host a private party? Christmas campfires are available to reserve. There also are public campfires where you can make your own s’mores. Various vendors are on the farm with delicious holiday treats for purchase.

The farm and its country store, with baked goods and an impressive U-PICK garden of seasonal fruits and vegetables, are open year-round. Schnepf’s largest annual event is in October, the Pumpkin Chili Festival, featuring a spooky train and fall fun for all ages.
