First Day of Silver Valley Elementary School July 24th

The First Day of school for Silver Valley Elementary in the Queen Creek School District is approaching quickly on July 24. A recent community ribbon cutting event welcomed hundreds to the beautifully modern elementary school campus and grounds.

Meet the Teacher night is July 22 at 4 p.m. and provides a great chance to familiarize children and parents with the stunning new school, drop-off and pick-up options and the wealth of resources that are available for students at Silver Valley. Principal
Carmichael recently shared that part of the school’s vision statement includes, “leaders at Silver Valley Elementary will look for the silver lining in situations.”

Principal Carmichael has also provided great tips for bus riders, bikers and parent drop-off on Silver Valley’s social media pages here:

Silver Valley features a large, stand-alone cafeteria that not only can be used for eating lunch, but also for music and PE classes during lunch hours while other students are eating lunch. Other benefits include a beautiful outdoor amphitheater and learning space with synthetic grass, a STEAM lab for a maker space as well as a STEAM lab for technology, expansive library with green room technology, plus flexible classroom spaces that allow for breakouts with different numbers and types of students to simulate even more collaboration and imagination.

Across the street at Eastmark High School, students in grades 7-10 will be offering high-quality academics, arts and athletic programs. Its first day of school is also July 24, with Meet the Teacher on July 23 from 6-8 p.m. Learn more about the excellent school here:
