Mountainside Fitness Grand Opening Success

Several thousand people turned out for an exciting Grand Opening celebration at the new Mountainside Fitness at 9311 E. Cadence Parkway, near Ellsworth and Ray roads in Mesa on October 2. Located within Arrival, the commercial center at Cadence at Gateway, the event featured raffles, complimentary refreshments including treats from Waffle Crush food truck, a DJ, an obstacle course and a rock-climbing wall. Visitors were especially thrilled when the Arizona Cardinals’ Big Red mascot and cheerleaders showed up with ticket giveaways.

The 40,000-square-foot club attracted individuals and families from Cadence, Eastmark and surrounding communities, as well as those looking to move to the area.

“The southeast Valley and particularly this area in east Mesa is growing tremendously and we are extremely proud to be able to serve the members of the community,” Craig Cote, Mountainside Fitness CEO, said in a press release.

An impressive children’s childcare area features a movie theater, gaming area, bouncer and mini-basketball court.

The Rogue lifting equipment was also popular, as was the outdoor workout area with battling ropes, sleds, and rowers, the group fitness rooms, the massage chairs, and sauna.
